What have you noticed?
- Insects repeatedly using one opening
- A visible nest near an entrance
- Activity under an eave or near a garden path
These observations help begin an assessment; they do not confirm a diagnosis.
Describe the position from a safe distance
Tell us whether the activity is at ground level, on a structure or high above an entrance. Mention whether it blocks the only usable doorway. Avoid approaching the flight path to take a close photograph or opening a cavity yourself.
Confirm access and the extent of the work
Work at height, nests within walls and later building repairs raise different access questions. Ask which parts of the work are available and what happens after assessment. An immediate personal medical emergency requires emergency services, not an online pest enquiry.
Before you arrange the visit
Give the full address, the affected rooms or structures and the person who can provide access. Confirm the work included, preparation, pricing and any later checks. Let us know if specialist access or a particular document is required.
Does removing visible nest material resolve every case?
The assessment should establish the location and appropriate approach. Ask whether treatment, removal of accessible material and repairs are separate parts of the proposal.
